This Privacy Policy describes NoteWriter, LLC (the "Company", "we", "us" or "our") practices regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of "personal information", which is any information that directly or indirectly identifies an individual.
This Privacy Policy covers personal information that we collect from individuals representing medical professionals ("you" or our "client") through the registration or use of our software application NoteWriter (the "App") or our website (the "Website") (collectively, our "Services" or "NoteWriter") or in other interactions with you.
By providing us with your information and agreeing to this Privacy Policy, you acknowledge and agree that you have read and understand this Policy and the information collection, use, and disclosure practices described herein. If you do not agree with our Policy, please do not provide us with your information.
Using our services
We collect personal information directly from you when you provide it to us during registration. We also collect information automatically when you use NoteWriter, which may or may not be personal information.
When you agree to the use of NoteWriter, we will ask you to provide your first name, last name, telephone number, email address, title, and address of work office.
You will also be asked to create a password to access your account. All billing information will be collected and processed by our third-party payment processor.
When you access and use the App or Website, we may automatically collect certain details of your access and use of NoteWriter, including usage details, device information, and internet connection data.
Privacy and copyright protection
We have implemented reasonable technical and organizational data security measures. Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet and mobile platforms is not completely secure. Although we follow all legal requirements and do our best to protect your personal information you provide to us, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
NoteWriter is located in the United States. All data will be transferred and stored in data centers in the United States. While located in the United States, personal information will be subject to US federal and state laws, including potential access by US law enforcement.
We will retain information collected via NoteWriter for as long as we are providing Services to you with respect to such information. We will retain information for as long as it may be required under applicable laws and regulations. We will delete information when it is no longer required or within twenty-four (24) months after you are no longer a client.
Your content in our services
We will not sell or give your information to any third party. We will only share or disclose your information as follows:
- To contractors, service providers, third-party processors, and other third parties we use to deliver the Services.
- To a purchaser in the event of a merger, divestiture, restructuring, reorganization, dissolution, or other sale or transfer of some or all of NoteWriter's assets.
- As may be required by law or as legitimately requested by law enforcement or pursuant to a legal obligation, in which case we will use reasonable efforts to provide notice to you.
You may send us an email at privacy@notewriter.com to request access to, correct, or delete any personal information that you have provided to us. We will accommodate your request within a reasonable time. Depending on the nature of the request, it may mean that you will no longer be able to use our Services via NoteWriter.
We may update our privacy policy from time to time. If we make material changes to how we treat our users' personal information, we will alert you to those changes.
